GEAR PUMP - INTERNAL GEAR PUMP - PETROLAND PUMP              Gear pump (pompa roda gigi) adalah jenis pompa positive displacement dimana fluida akan mengalir melalui celah-celah roda gigi dengan dinding rumahnya. Disebut sebagai pompa karena fluida yang dialirkan pada umumnya berupa cairan ( liquid ) atau bubur ( slu rry ). Sedangkan pompa positive displacement berarti pompa tersebut menghisap sejumlah fluida yang terjebak yang kemudian ditekan dan dipindahkan ke arah keluaran ( outlet ).
